Terms and Requirements
The renter and additional drivers must be over 25 years old and with a minimum of 2 years of a Class B driving licence.
The motorhome cannot be collected by anyone other than the contractor.
It is mandatory to present the identification documents of both the renter and the possible drivers, with a minimum of 48 hours before the start of the rental, likewise, the landlord may require, if deemed necessary, any type of identification document.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the vehicle.
It is strictly forbidden to travel with pets.
If at the time of delivery of the vehicle it is noted that one of these two rules has been broken, a penalty of 50% of the deposit will be applied.
To confirm the reservation, it is essential to pay 30% of the total rental amount by bank transfer. To collect the motorhome, the full rental amount and the security deposit must be paid*, being returned within a maximum period of 48 hours after verifying that there are no damages or if there were, pending the estimate.
*In addition to the rental fee, a deposit must be paid, depending on the vehicle.
30 days before the start date, 50% Reservation penalty.
Between 29 and 16 days before the start, 80% Reservation penalty.
Less than fifteen days, 100% Reservation penalty.
The motorhomes are delivered fully clean and sanitized, both inside and out, ready for use, and must be returned in the same state and with the waste water tanks empty, if not returned in these conditions, a fee of €100 must be paid for cleaning.
The driver is responsible for any fine, penalty, and other liabilities that may be incurred for violating current traffic legislation during the rental period.
The vehicle is intended for normal use, and the renter is expressly forbidden from using it for contests or races, transporting merchandise, pushing or towing any vehicle, transferring use to third parties, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The motorhome has fully comprehensive insurance with a deposit to be agreed.
In the event of an accident, the driver will only bear the cost of the damages up to the limit of the excess amount, unless a third party is at fault, in which case the coverage is complete, provided that the accident report is properly completed and signed by both parties.
The vehicle is only covered for travel within the EU, and it is forbidden to drive the motorhome in a country not belonging to the EU.
The renter will be responsible for the payment in case of breakage or loss of any type of accessory or equipment included in the motorhome, as well as all the extra equipment hired, bicycles, navigator, child seat, etc.
In case of breakage, damage or signs of breakdown, the driver must notify it within the next 12 hours after noticing the problem.
Failure to notify could affect the timely delivery to the next customer, so they may be required to pay the amount corresponding to one day of rental.
The delivery and return of the motorhome will take place at the agreed place, date, and time.
The return of the vehicle before the indicated date will not result in any refund.
The non-appearance of the renter at the agreed place and time for the start of the rental will be considered as unilateral termination of the contract and the reservation by the renter, with a penalty of 100% of the reservation, such non-appearance will authorize the landlord to dispose of the reserved vehicle, not entitling the customer to any compensation.
Any extension of the rental period must be communicated at least three days in advance for confirmation, depending on the availability of the vehicle for those dates, in the event that the extension is possible, the renter agrees to pay in advance the additional cost that such an extension generates, and it cannot be deducted in any way from the deposited deposit (Understood as an extension the extension of the rental period once the trip has started), unauthorized delays in delivery will be penalized with a daily rate triple the amount applied by contract.
If for reasons beyond the control of the landlord, such as breakdowns, accidents or similar, or force majeure, the vehicle cannot be delivered on the indicated day, the renter can only claim the deposit paid to the landlord, not entitling to any compensation.
